Aadhar card number seeding / linking can be done by two modes:

       1.  Offline mode:

If you do not have net banking enable on your bank account, then there is an alternative method. Follow the below steps:

-          Get the aadhar card to bank account seeding / linkage blank form from the link given below:

-          After downloading it, take a print out of it.

-          Fill in the all details correctly. Do not make any mistake or do not leave any field blank.  Enter your  details given below:

o   bank account number

o    your name in block letters

o    full resident address

o   12 digit  aadhaar card number

o    Gender

o    mobile number

o   place and date and

o    your signature

• -          After filling all details, attach a self-attested photocopy of aadhaar card with the form.

• -          Now go to your bank branch and submit the seeding / linkage form to the bank.

• -          Do not forget to take your bank passbook and real aadhaar card with you. As a bank officer may ask you to just examine them.

• -          Now the bank office will give you the receipt of the application and you can come back.

• -          The bank will further verify your details in the form.
• 
  
• -          Once your application is verified you will be informed.

      

       2.  Online mode:

             In which the account holder has to use net banking services for linking  the aadhar card number with their bank account number. Though it is extremely easy method,  many of the people do not have net banking enabled, it is not so popular.

             To seed / link your bank account with aadhaar card, you have to log in your bank's website. After successful login, you should search option for aadhar card seeding. Various banks may put this option in different sections, So you have to find it manually. You can also search online for help according to your bank or you can contact your bank as well.
